Italicus

Italicus was Arminius’ nephew. Arminius‘ brother Flavus was his father. His mother came from another Germanic tribe: She was the daughter of Actumerus, the »princeps« of the Chatti.

Just like Thumelicus, Italicus was born and raised in Rome. In 47 AD the Emperor Claudius appointed him as king of the Cherusci. The tribe had requested this because Italicus was the only surviving descendant of the princely family. One can conclude that Thumelicus must have been dead at this stage.
