As early as on the day after the special exhibition CONFLICT’s closing, the big packing started: Several hundred exhibits will be brought home to the owning museums in various European countries. With utmost care, these archaeological treasures of Germanic culture are prepared for transport. Many curators and conservators like Anna Tjellden from Moesgård Museum in Denmark come to Kalkriese to pick up the precious finds in person.
